What happens to what you send us

Short version: we keep what you send so a person can read it and reply. We don't sell it, we don't run ad trackers, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

Orbit Custom, a software studio. For anything on this page, write to [email protected].

What we collect, and when

• The contact form. Your name, email address or WhatsApp number, your message, and a voice note if you record one.
• "Keep me posted." Your email address.
• Henry, the chat assistant. The messages you type or speak to him, and his replies.
• Technical details. A scrambled version of your IP address (a salted hash, not the address itself) used only to limit abuse, and your browser's user-agent string.

Your microphone is used only while you hold the record button. Nothing is recorded otherwise.

How it is handled

• Everything above is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, which also hosts this site.
• Voice notes are transcribed to text by Cloudflare's speech-recognition service so we can read them quickly. We keep the recording and the transcript.
• Messages to Henry are sent to Anthropic, the company behind the model he runs on, solely to generate his reply.
• Contact messages and "keep me posted" addresses are also emailed to our studio mailbox, which runs on Microsoft 365.

We use these providers to run the site and read what you send. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

In your browser

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures loading speed without cookies and without identifying you or following you across sites. It also stores two small flags on your device (whether you already left an email, and whether Henry has introduced himself) so you are not asked twice. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

How long we keep it

As long as it is useful for replying to you and following up on a project. If you would like something deleted, email [email protected] from the address you used and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can email us directly instead of using the form or Henry. If you share someone else's details with us, please make sure they are happy with that.
